Used to calculate the following formulas on one spreadsheet in both metric and SI units: Coefficient of Volume (CV), Calculated Pressure Drop, Adjusted Band Rate, Gallons per Minute, Speed Cal Adjust, Meter Cal Adjust, Spreader Constant Adjust, Flow Meter Range, and Calculate Spreader Constant
Note: this version is not compatible with Excel 2003 or older.
CV Formula (Control Valves):
Used to calculate the amount of pressure drop through your control valve. Helps determine whether or not the control valve you are using will be adequate for your application, based on how many gallons per minute will be flowing through the system.
Calculated Pressure Drop
(General System Configuration):
Used to determine pressure drop of an application system.
AccuFlow HP™ ROI Calculator
Used to determine ROI of the AccuFlow HP System.
Adjusted Band Rate
Broadcast rates can be tailored to band applications with this calculator. Find the band adjusted rate by calculating the broadcast rate along with band width and row spacing. This calculator is best used when spraying directly on the rows versus broadcast spraying.
Gallons Per Minute (General System Configuration):
Used to determine the gallons per minute your application system is applying. GPM is used when determining other system configurations.
Speed Cal Adjust (SCS Consoles, Field Computers):
Speed Cal is used to ensure the SCS console or field computer is displaying the machine speed accurately. Raven application systems automatically compensate for changes in speed through the field, so an accurate Speed Cal is critical to correct application.
Meter Cal Adjust (SCS Consoles, Field Computers,
Flow Meters, Liquid Application):
Every Raven flow meter is calibrated before it leaves the factory, so the Cal number on the tag is accurate. If the console displays application volumes different from what the system is actually applying, the Meter Cal may need to be adjusted. An accurate Meter Calibration is critical to correct application.
Spreader Constant Adjust
(SCS Consoles, Field Computers, Granular Application):
The Spreader Constant determines accurate application of granular products. If your console displays application volumes different from what the system is actually applying, the Spreader Constant may need to be adjusted. An accurate Spreader Constant is critical to correct application.
Flow Meter Working Range (Flow Meters):
Every Raven flow meter has a flow range where it can accurately measure the amount of product going through it. The working range helps you determine which flow meter best fits your application needs.
Calculating Spreader Constant (Granular Application):
Used in granular applications to help determine accurate application of product.
